Details: Since 1991, The Salvation Army Children's Services (SACS) Foster Care & Adoption Program has been caring for children in the Lehigh Valley. The agency provides foster children with safe, loving, and nurturing foster and adoptive homes. SACS is committed to providing foster and adoptive parents with a high level of support, encouragement, and resources. We also offer educational trainings, seasonal events, networking opportunities, and a mentoring program.
Mission Statement: To provide for the temporary protection, support and nurturing of children placed in Salvation Army's approved and highly qualified foster and adoptive families. Services are provided in a holistic manner; promoting the safety and well-being of children while responding to the diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds of the children and families we serve. We promote the delivery of services without discrimination while addressing the physical, social, and spiritual needs of all children placed in our care.
