Jamie is no stranger to 69 News! While attending the Schereyer Honors College at Penn State University, Jamie interned with WFMZ. She hoped one day she'd be back.
But she had to go away first. She landed her first job as a reporter at WBOY-TV in Clarksburg, West Virginia in 2011. Jamie quickly climbed the ranks, becoming weekend anchor and fill-in weather forceaster.
While at WBOY, Jamie broke a statewide story that launched further investigations and a review of the state's one-of-a-kind veterans' nursing facility. Her "Facts & Fracks" series, a special segment that highlighted the affects of natural gas development on the Mountain State, was a viewer favorite.
Jamie graduated summa cum laude from Penn State in 2011. While in Happy Valley, Jamie anchored, reported and produced for the award winning "Centre County Report."
Jamie is a Bucks County native. She graduated with distinguished honors at Quakertown High School in 2008 (Go Panthers!).
Jamie is a BIG Penn State fan (WE ARE!) and excited to cover stories that affect people she grew up with.
When she's not chasing stories, Jamie makes sure to find time for her family (this includes two VERY high strung Jack Russels) and friends. Jamie is also a wannabe-chef and known to whip up new recipes as late as 2 a.m.
If you have any story suggestions, questions, or comments, shoot Jamie an email and check her out on Facebook and Twitter.
