Rosa Duarte joined the 69 News Team in March 2012 as a general assignment reporter for both the English and Spanish newscast, Edicion en Espanol.

Rosa's broadcast career began in Roanoke, VA for WSLS-TV as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor. Her work helped win the station a Peabody Award for the first 48 hour coverage of the Virginia Tech shooting and a D.T. Bryan Broadcast Division award for spot news coverage.

She has also worked for News 12 New Jersey as a free-lance reporter and most recently covered the morning rush hour as traffic reporter for WGAL in Lancaster, PA.
Rosa's roots are Chilean but she grew up in Rochester, NY and studied Media Journalism Studies at SUNY Geneseo.

She is happy to be in the Lehigh Valley and part of the 69 News Team where she can report on stories that affect the local and Latino communities.
