Weather Forecast Discussion

Milder with some afternoon rain today

Chillier and brisk with a bit of rain tomorrow

TODAY: Mostly cloudy with some rain this afternoon. High: 65 (50s north and 70s south)

TONIGHT: Cloudy with a little rain or drizzle. Low: 42

SUNDAY: Cloudy and cooler with a bit of rain and drizzle. High: 44 Low: 41

Today will be the warmest day we've felt in more than two weeks as high temperatures extend into the mid 60s! More cloud cover north in the Poconos, so temperatures will only reach the 50s and with more sunshine south towards Philadelphia, temperatures will soar into the 70s. However, the day will be filled with mostly cloudy skies and some rain around this afternoon. Tonight remains cloudy with a little rain and drizzle. Temperatures only drop to the low 40s.

A backdoor cold front makes its way into the area and Sunday will be chillier as high temperatures only reach the mid 40s with a breeze. Skies will be cloudy with a bit of rain and drizzle throughout the day. That doesn't mean it will be raining all day long on Sunday, but at any point during the day a bit of rain is possible.

The backdoor cold front will eventually lift to the north and at that point the main cold front will be pushing in from the west Sunday night. The cold front will bring a steadier period of rain to the area Sunday night into Monday morning. The rain is expected to taper back to showers as Monday afternoon rolls around. Highs on Monday will be mild near 60 degrees.

Another mild, mid 60 degree day on Tuesday then temperatures will be reaching the seasonable low 50s for the rest of next week. Each day does feature the opportunity for some rain. For now, Thursday will be the only mostly sunny day next week.
