Berks woman gives back

BERKS COUNTY, Pa. - A Berks County woman who drew national attention when she appeared on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is now giving folks in our area a helping hand.

Trisha Urban has set up a non-profit group called "the Restoring Hope Foundation" that remodels homes in our area.

On Tuesday night her group announced that the Van Sant family of Muhlenberg Township will be getting their home refurbished.

The members of the foundation say it's a rewarding experience.

"It's a feel-good thing. It's a cool thing to do -- especially now. People are in more need for help today than every before," said Restoring Hope Foundation chairman Kert Sloan.

This is the second year the foundation has refurbished a home.
