ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

A new report says home prices are on the rise nationally and right here in the Lehigh Valley.

CoreLogic says home prices in the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton area were up 7.9% in February compared to the same time last year.

The prices were up 1.8% over the month.

The report also says national home prices were up 12.2% in February compared to the same time last year. It was also the 24th month in a row that home prices have increased on the national level.

CoreLogic is predicting that the trend will continue, and national home prices will increase by another half-of-a-percent in March.
