Shoppers lining up ahead of Black Friday with shopping plan

HANOVER TWP., Pa. - The line between Thanksgiving and Black Friday seems to get a little blurrier every year.

A lot of stores are opening Thursday night so shoppers are lining up now to cash in on those deep discounts.

Some folks at Target in Hanover Township had been in line with their lawn chairs since 3:00 Thanksgiving afternoon.

The must-wait-in-line-to-get item is a huge TV.

They are the three amigos of holiday shopping.  Judith, Brandon and his mother, Dawn.

They have been parked in their lawn chairs, going through the Black Friday ads  since 3:00.

"I work here and I have to stand in line," said Judith.

That's right, even Target employees are standing in line for deals.

The hot item this year?

"I am standing in line for  a 50 inch TV," said Brandon Apgar.

Brandon hopes to scoop one up for $350.  It's a present for himself.

His mother, however, is shopping for others.

She hopes to take home a laptop and then will continue her quest for Christmas gifts elsewhere.

"I'm going to BonTon at midnight and I am going to JC Penny at 5am. I'm crazy," said Dawn Apgar.

Mom says Black Friday line waiting has become a family tradition of sorts, a holiday their family and their wallets wait for all year.

After a few hours the three amigos are joined by some other deal hunting hombres, who will wait faithfully out in the cold for hours just to say they got the best of the black Friday holiday.
