With 13,000 square feet of exhibit space, the Lehigh County Historical Society is a hot-spot for history buffs.
Volunteers help to keep the place running, and recently Rob Vaughn and Wendy Davis pitched in to get the place ready for the holidays.
"If a tree falls inside the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, it definitely does makes a sound," said Rob. "Especially when you're on decorating duty, and the clock is ticking."
"We're doing different vignettes through the museum," said Jill Youngken of the Lehigh Valley Historical Society.
A lot of the success rides on Rob and Wendy's work.
They were setting the stage for the story of "Virginia," the little girl who wanted to know whether "Santa" was the real deal.
Clearly, a little teamwork goes a long way at the Heritage Museum.
"Altogether, we have over 100 volunteers," said Jill. "It is one big family, we all know each other," she added.
But what happens when Rob and Wendy decide to divide and conquer?
"We have a couple of sills to decorate, I'll take on, you take the other?" said Rob.
"Yes Rob, we'll have a little friendly competition," Wendy added.
Rob's sill was in need of a little intervention...from both Virginia and the "big guy" himself.
If you'd like to lend a hand at the Historical Society, there's lots more to do than just decorating.
