Students spread cheer to children hospitalized for holidays

WEST READING, Pa. - Fleetwood High School students are trying to cheer up children who are spending the holidays in the hospital.

Members of the school's "ACCEPT" club delivered gifts to children in Reading Hospital.

The club started as an effort to combat bullying, but it's become much more.

"Kids are very impressionable when they're young, and we want to start off giving things back to the community and then plant the seed for future children to grow up and maybe do the same thing," said Ciara Marsh, student.

Students said they hope the gesture continues for years to come.
