Sunrise Chef Mike Geary

Three-time Pennsylvania Iron Chef gold medal winner Mike Geary joined 69 News at Sunrise with a number of their delicious sandwich and side creations.  He even created one just for us!  You can check out Geary's restaurant, Old School Sandwich Shop, is located in the Tilghman Square shopping center near Tilghman Street and Route 309 in South Whitehall Township.

2 Slices Sourdough
2 Strips Apple Wood Smoked Bacon
3 Ounces of Apple Wood Smoked Ham
3 Slices of Beefsteak Tomato
Shredded Lettuce
Brown Sugar/Black Pepper Mixture
Place bacon on sheet pan and sprinkle each slice with brown sugar mixture. Bake in oven at 350 till crispy. Grill ham slices preferably sliced thinner then the bacon. Toast bread and smear with mayonnaise. Place lettuce and Tomato on. Top with ham and bacon and serve with house made kettle chips.

1 Snap Dog
4 Ounces of Fresh Pork Sliced Thin
3 Ounces of Bourbon Bean
2 Slices Bacon
1 Portuguese Roll
1 ½ Ounces of BBQ

Cook Snap Dog on grill till warm. Heat up pork on grille and top with Bourbon Beans and Bacon. Top all with BBQ and serve on a Toasted Portuguese Roll and serve with Side of Crack Mac

1 Breaded Chicken Cutlet
2 Ounces of Marinated Artichokes
1 Ounces of Oven Roasted Tomatoes
1 Ounce Sweet Basil Pesto
2 Ounces of Sliced Mozzarella
1 Portuguese Roll
1 Ounce Garlic Aioli

Place Garlic Aioli on 1 side of Portuguese roll and Pesto on the other. Put chicken on the bottom half then top with Artichokes, Tomatoes and Cheese on top. Can be served hot or cold.
