Doylestown Hospital shows off new disinfectant

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - A Bucks County hospital is shining a fresh light on hospital-acquired infections.

Doylestown Hospital is showing off the Xenex disinfecting system.

It uses UV-C light to knock out organisms that create infections in hospitals.

It just takes a few minutes for the device to do its work.

Doylestown Hospital is only the third hospital in Pennsylvania and one of about 70 in the U.S. to get one of these.
