NJ lawmakers tour St. Luke's Warren ahead of improvements

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. - Lawmakers from New Jersey are getting a closer look at plans for St. Luke's University Health Network.

U.S. Congressman Leonard Lance and state Assemblyman Erik Peterson toured St. Luke's Warren Campus in Phillipsburg.

The lawmakers wanted to drop by after St. Luke's announced a $30 million investment in the hospital last month.

$20 million will be used to renovate the intensive care unit and patient rooms.
The other $10 million will be used to expand satellite outpatient services.

St. Luke's merged with Warren Hospital last year after the hospital had been struggling financially.
