St. Luke's wins legal victory in connection with Cullen suit

St. Luke's University Hospital has scored yet another legal victory in connection with a lawsuit involving killer-nurse Charles Cullen.

Pennsylvania's Supreme Court has denied an appeal filed by the families of Cullen's victims.

The families had sought to overturn a state Superior Court ruling that dropped St. Luke's from a $95 million settlement.

Cullen is serving consecutive life sentences after he admitted to killing more than two dozen patients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
