Muhlenberg police looking for woman in assault at Walmart

MUHLENBERG TWP., Pa. - Police in Berks County are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman wanted for assault at a Walmart.

Police on Monday released a surveillance photo of a woman wanted in connection with a simple assault that occurred at the Walmart, 5370 Allentown Pike, in Muhlenberg Township. The assault occurred 2:20 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities described the person as a black woman in her mid-20s, standing five feet, five inches tall. She was wearing black leggings, a gray coat and white boots.

Police said she fled the Walmart on foot toward Sam's Club and may have been picked up by an unknown man.
