Holy Name Captures State Volleyball Title

Holy Name won its second PIAA A state volleyball championship in the last three years on Saturday, beating Clarion, 3-1 for the crown.

Brandywine and Southern Lehigh each fell in the PIAA 2A semifinals.

The Bullets were swept by Merion Mercy, 3-0. The Spartans fell in a five-set heartbreaker to West Allegheny, 3-2.
