(CNN) -

You know when the flight attendant tells you to put away your electronic devices?

Apparently some people are ignoring that command.

That's according to a new Airfare Watchdog poll published in USA Today.

Of the 1,200 people who took the online survey, one in four said they don't always follow the flight attendant's instruction to stop using their electronics.

The Federal Aviation Administration says passengers are asked to turn off the devices during takeoff and landing because of potential signal interference.
