Jacqueline Thomas

Meteorologist | Jacqueline joined the WFMZ Weather Team in July of 2015. She can be seen on 69 News during weekend evenings and on the AccuWeather Channel throughout the week.

A native of Massachusetts, Jacqueline attended Lyndon State College in Vermont where she earned her Bachelor's degree in meteorology, along with an Associate's degree in journalism. She joined the American Meteorological Society as part of LSC's chapter, and is still a member. She also served as the National Weather Association Broadcast Meteorology Committee Student Member.

Ever since she was a child, Jacqueline has been fascinated by the weather and she loves thunderstorms and autumn. Her curiosity for the weather ultimately drove her ambition to study and learn about the atmosphere.

Aside from always looking at and photographing the sky, Jacqueline loves to sing. She has performed in numerous theater and other on-stage performances since the age of 8, including CD and commercial recordings. She plays the violin and is teaching herself guitar and piano. Otherwise, she can be found watching football on Sundays, painting or drawing, and spending time with family and friends.

Jacqueline says she's very excited to be here in the Lehigh Valley and begin this next chapter of her life. She's looking forward to learning all about the area. If you have any tips, fun facts, or good sight-seeing ideas for the area, Jacqueline asks you send her an email. Of course, any weather pictures or weather questions are greatly encouraged as well.
