A doctor who helped design the so-called "bubble home" in Lehigh County has been hit with sanctions.

The Texas Medical Board and Dr. William Rea have agreed that he must let patients know his treatment for chemical sensitivity disorder is not FDA approved.

The board said he failed to do that for several patients.

Rea helped design the "bubble home" in South Whitehall Township.

He also treated Elizabeth Feudale, who claims she has the disorder. She said she needs the home to survive.

Feudale and her husband are locked in a battle with the township over the legality of the bubble home.
