125 jobs expected with expansion of Coca-Cola plant

More than one hundred new jobs are coming to Lehigh County, thanks to the expansion of Coca-Cola's bottling plant.

Officials from The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation say Coca-Cola's bottling plant in Upper Macungie Township is planning a $46-million dollar expansion project.

They made the announcement at a meeting held at the Mack Truck Customer Center in Allentown Thursday evening.

Officials say the expansion will create125 new jobs by the end of this year.
