24 people to be first inductees of county's hall of fame

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Lehigh County now has a Hall of Fame, and 24 names are being added to it right away.

The inductees are prominent current and former residents of the Lehigh Valley, including NFL hall of famer Chuck Bednarik, actresses Amanda Seyfried and Christine Taylor, and founder of Legg Mason Financial, Chip Mason.

"These are all folks that are household names in Lehigh County, and in many cases they are household names across America and the world, from the areas of sports and entertainment and business and communications," said Executive Don Cunningham, D-Lehigh Co.

The inductees will be honored at a community celebration on March 10 at the Allentown Agri-Plex.
