Five people were killed when a helicopter went down in Wyoming County. They were apparently heading to Lehighton when it crashed Saturday night.
The Federal Aviation Administration says it was a Robinson 66 helicopter that went down in a heavily wooded area near Noxen.
A county coroner says four adults and one child were killed in the crash.
State police say an alert notice for the chopper was issued after radar and communication contact with the aircraft was lost last night.
It took off from Binghamton, New York and was heading to Jake Arner Memorial Airport in Lehighton.
The FAA says the wreckage was found just before 2 p.m. Sunday.
