Monday, Pennsylvania State Police said an ongoing drug crackdown led to the arrest of a major heroin dealer in Monroe County.

William Harris, 38, is accused transporting more than 2,000 bags of heroin in the engine compartment of his vehicle.

Police said they have beefed up patrols along interstates, leading to more drug trafficking arrests.

On Tuesday, police in Lehigh County ramped up the investigation for a woman who went missing more than five months ago.

State Police canvassed the neighborhood of Lower Macungie resident Holly Grim, in hopes of uncovering elusive clues into her whereabouts.

Grim was last seen at her home in the Red Acres Mobile Home Park on Nov. 22.

Wednesday, a Berks County jury found a New Jersey man guilty of causing the death of his ex-girlfriend.

Michael Morrone was found guilty of third degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the 2008 death of Christine McGhee at Kutztown University.

Officials said Morrone caused McGhee's death when the two got into a fight, and she fell off his truck when he hit the gas pedal.

On Thursday, three Allentown high school students were charged in connection with an alleged bullying incident caught on camera.

Authorities said one of the alleged bullies posted the video on Facebook.

The students are charged with harassment and ethnic intimidation.

Friday, homicide charges were filed in a deadly fire in Forks Township, Northampton County.

Police said Fallonn Craig set a fire in her apartment at the Mineral Springs Hotel last October after having an argument with her boyfriend.

Officials said another resident in the hotel died a few weeks later from injuries sustained during the fire.
