69-WFMZ-TV partners with ESPN to present college football in HD

SALISBURY TWP., Pa. - 69-WFMZ-TV will give you a front row seat to some college football action this season.

A new partnership with ESPN will bring a mix of Big East and Mid-American Conference football games to Channel 69 viewers.

"Our expansion into digital broadcasting has created numerous opportunities to provide so much more programming for our viewers," said Barry Fisher, 69-WFMZ-TV general manager. "We are especially proud to be able to "kick-off" this great partnership with ESPN that will allow football fans to enjoy a great menu of regional and national football rivalries in high-definition TV."

The schedule of high-definition Big East and MAC broadcasts is made up of eight other games. (Check your cable listings for broadcast times).

Oct. 8:  (Big East) University of Connecticut @ West Virginia University

Oct. 15  (MAC )Toledo @ Bowling Green

Oct. 22:  (MAC) N. Illinois @ Buffalo

Oct. 29: (MAC) C. Michigan @ Akron

Nov. 15: (MAC) Ball State @ E. Michigan

Nov. 26: (Big East) Teams to be announced. 

69-WFMZ-TV also continues its commitment to high school football around the region. 

The station began its 17th season of "The Big Ticket" on September 2.
