Local leaders work to "perk up" manufacturing

Local leaders work to perk up manufacturing

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Governor Corbett released a report earlier this year highlighting ways that communities can give the manufacturing industry a boost, and some local leaders wasted no time taking action.

They started a local effort called PerkUp, and it's getting the attention of some big wigs in Harrisburg.

Luanne Stauffer, president of the Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce and Keith Gonyo, Vice President and Plant Manager at Brown Printing, sat down with WFMZ's Eve Tannery to explain their initiative.
