Officials are encouraging Allentown residents to make the Queen City a green city.
Mayor Ed Pawlowski announced Wednesday that the city is expanding its curbside recycling program.
Residents can now recycle empty milk, juice and similar cartons by placing them in their green recycling bins along with their plastic, metal and glass containers.
Just make sure to remove any straws or plastic caps and empty the containers before you recycle them.
