Two young filmmakers have chronicled the state of American manufacturing and today they're in the Lehigh Valley.

Nathan McGill and Vincent Vittorio have directed and produced a documentary called "American Made Movie."

Wednesday they filmed at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute in Schnecksville.

It's part of a "30 cities in 30 days" tour to highlight local manufacturing.

The filmmakers say the state of American manufacturing makes for a dramatic story.

"It's up, it's down, it's the Rocky Balboa-type story, but it's real," said filmmaker Nathan McGill. "It matters to the country. And the most important part is that we can all do something. So people walk away with a clear call to action."

A private screening of "American Made Movie" is being held tonight at the ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem.

"American Made Movie" will premiere in theaters later this year.
