Berks County Patriots host town hall meeting

LEESPORT, Pa. -

More than 400 people turned out to learn about about major legislative issues in Pennsylvania.

The Berks County Patriots, a conservative group, hosted a town hall meeting at the Leesport Farmers Market Thursday night.

Topics included property tax reform, pensions and more.

Several state lawmakers spoke at the meeting and answered questions from the crowd.

The group says meetings like this one are a great way for residents to let lawmakers know their concerns.
