Bill to limit Pa. abortion coverage clears another hurdle
Legislation that would limit abortion coverage in Pennsylvania has cleared another hurdle.
A state House committee has approved a bill that disallows coverage of most abortions in Pennsylvania's health insurance marketplace.
The marketplace was created by the new federal health care law.
Exceptions would be allowed for victims of rape or incest and if a mother's life is in danger.
A state Senate committee approved the bill last week.
