READING, Pa. -

A tree farm in Berks County is returning to its roots.

Geissler's Tree Farm has set up shop at the Penn Street Market in downtown Reading.

The business actually got its start in the city, but it hasn't sold trees in town for about a decade.
"It's been a while," said Rick Geissler. "We sold trees. My parents sold trees on Centre Avenue, the 1700 block of Centre Avenue, for 40 plus years."

The trees will be sold at the Penn Street Market again next Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Or, you can head out to one of Geissler's two locations in Penn or Bern townships.

This year, the farm is once again taking part in a national effort called Trees for Troops.

For $20, you can help send a Christmas tree to the family of a soldier.
