Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly has closed a case with a major pharmaceutical company to the tune of almost $43 million.
Pfizer has agreed to pay $42.9 million to 32 different states over allegations that the company unlawfully promoted its drugs Zyvox and Lyrica.
Kelly said that Pfizer misled consumers in its ads about what the drugs off-label uses were.
Pennsylvania will receive more than 2 million dollars as part of the settlement.
