READING, Pa. -

A member of the Corbett administration says the governor plans to focus on transportation funding and pension reform this fall.

The Secretary of the Commonwealth met members of the Reading-Berks Association of Realtors Thursday morning.

She says the group's work is improving the local economy.

She also said the governor has helped homeowners by dropping a requirement that new homes have sprinkler systems.

She also says utility costs are down because of Corbett's efforts to drill for natural gas in the Marcellus Shale.
