A New Jersey appeals court has dismissed a court challenge to a contentious power line project.
Environmental groups had filed the lawsuit.
They want to stop the Susquehanna-Roseland power line project from PPL and PSE&G.
The groups are against running the line through the Delaware Water Gap National
Recreation Area and New Jersey's rural Highlands.
They also claim the line is being used to increase the reach of coal-fired power plants.
The court found no basis for that.
A federal lawsuit against the project is still pending.
