Snowboarders will once again be showing off their tricks in downtown Easton.
The "Red Bull Rail Jam" is taking over Centre Square again this winter and it will be larger than the last one.
The Easton Rail jam brought a lot of people from all over to downtown Easton in 2010.
Organizers said they didn't even think the event was going to take place.
"When we first approached the mayor with this we actually thought he was going to shoot it down," said Greg Melhem, owners of Drinky's and a local sponsor. "Last year when we did it, he was full board, all happy about it."
The event is on its way back for 2012.
"We just thought it was going to be a one year thing but because of the popularity we decided to do it again. Red Bull approached us this year," said Melhem.
Everyone is excited about the Red Bull Butter Cup and there will be a lot more snow: 170 feet of it stretching across Centre Square.
"We are the only one in the Butter Cup that actually has it in the middle of a city," said Melhem. "Usually it's on a mountain or something like that."
"This is big and it's going to be even bigger than last year," said Easton Mayor Sal Panto. "And last year was overwhelming!"
Red Bull has turned the event into a stop on a national competition tour where everyone must perform a trick called the Butter Cup.
A larger event means bleachers and more sponsors.
"Last year we put this event together in two months," said Panto. "This year we had the entire year and a number of changes are being made."
The event will take place on February 11.
