A Berks County woman who almost lost it all is now trying to rebuild her life with the help from the crew of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and hundreds of local volunteers.

As Trisha Urban played with her daughter last night, she couldn't believe how her life has changed.

Thursday morning, Trisha found out she was one of the winners of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

"It's been so surreal," said Trisha. "I keep thinking that it's a dream, but this time I really don't want to wake up."

Trisha's home holds difficult memories.

On February 4, 2009, while Trisha was about to give birth, she lost her husband Andy, who suffered from a congenital heart defect.

About nine hours after her husband's death, Cora was born.

Facing a mortgage and mounting debt, Trisha's name was submitted to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and the rest is history.

"I was so close to losing everything and now I can keep my home and the dream alive that my husband and I once shared," said Trisha.

The developers said her approximately 300-year-old home will be demolished Friday. And it will definitely take a community to rebuild it.

As the cameras rolled, dozens of volunteers celebrated the moment.

"This was a true coalition build of businesses in the county, not just two or three people doing the work," said Dean Ramich of the Home Builders Association of Berks County. "It was everybody and that's what it's all about."

"There are certainly some things we're going to save from this 300-year-old home that we'll incorporate into the new home, said Paul DiMeo, one of the show's developers and a native of Media, Delaware County.

And until that new home is built, Trisha will be on an all-expenses paid vacation with her family at Walt Disney World in Florida.

"It's a a dream come true," said Trisha.
