MAIDENCREEK TWP., Pa. -

Flames hit a family-owned recycling plant in Maidencreek Township, Berks County Saturday morning, cause 3.5 million dollars worth of damage.

Crews at the scene said the fire started in the processing area of the Zwicky Processing and Recycling center.

It's located in the 200 block of Buena Vista Road in the township.

Owners said it take them a little while to recoup from the damage, but they're thankful no one was injured.

"Today we had a major setback here. The best thing is that nobody was hurt and everything's under control and we'll do assessments here and we'll be back," said David Zwicky.

Officials say the fire was accidental.
