Investigators are looking for the cause of a fire that damaged an abandoned factory Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to the Silk Mill complex on East 5th Street in Jim Thorpe, Carbon County around 5:30.

Officials said the fire started on the second floor of the complex, which is more than a century old.

There were no reported injuries.

Officials said the complex has been the target of vandals in the past.
