Firefighters were busy battling flames and smoke in Berks County late Thursday afternoon.
The fire erupted shortly after 4 p.m. inside a home in the 2400 block of Welsh Road in Cumru Township.
Officials said they aren't sure what started the fire, but the house is a total loss.
The Red Cross is assisting the home's residents: three adults, two children and two dogs.
No one was injured.
