TILDEN TWP., Pa. -

A home for a deserving Berks County mother is taking shape, thanks to hundreds of volunteers and a national television show.

On Saturday, the frame of the house went up at the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" construction site in Tilden Township.

The new home is being built for Trisha Urban and her daughter Cora. Trisha lost her husband while she was in labor in February of last year, just hours before she gave birth.

Construction began Friday, and now the house is taking shape.

Even seasoned builders who volunteered to help out say they're impressed with how fast things are moving.

"I've always been a big fan of the show, I've been in building for a long time, always wanted to see how it works but it's just so amazing to me, I mean, how fast this stuff is going up," said volunteer Andy Gibney.

The big reveal will be this Thursday.

Be sure to stay tuned to 69 News as we follow the construction of the home.
