NAZARETH, Pa. -

Martin Guitar will soon be fighting counterfeiting with science.

The Nazareth, Northampton County-based company announced Tuesday that it's teaming up with Applied DNA Sciences.

Martin guitar said the new partnership means customers will be protected by forensic anti-counterfeiting systems.

Specific details aren't being released just yet, but Applied DNA Sciences said it will use technology to protect Martin Guitars' patented products at home and abroad.
