WEST READING, Pa. -

Workers at Reading Hospital and Medical Center lined up to lend a helping hand Thursday.

They filled a school bus with school supplies for kids in need as part of the United Way's annual "Stuff the Bus" collection drive.

"We know that there will be hundreds and hundreds of school bags that will be collected and provided to individual schools and then boxes of basic school supplies will be distributed to classrooms all throughout Berks County," said Patricia Giles, United Way of Berks County.

This is the second straight year the hospital has launched the largest company drive for the "Stuff the Bus" campaign.
