Kristina Derkits signs with Drexel.

The Allen field hockey program has sent some outstanding players on to play at the next level. They've had players go to a number of places, and even one of the guys that played for Allen who went on to play for the national team. A few have gone on to play at Drexel, and today another Canary is signing on to play in Philadelphia. Kristina Derkits was honored at Allen High School today for signing to play for Drexel in the fall. Derkits has been a four year starter at Allen and one of their most dynamic players, now she's ready to prove herself at the college level.
