The Lauren's First and Goal football camp - the largest of its kind in the entire country - is set to return to Lafayette College on June 6.

Lafayette Defensive Coordinator John Loose, whose daughter Lauren is a pediatric brain tumor survivor, started the foundation and the camp back in 2004. Since then, the camp has become an extraordinarily popular one among high school football players.

The camp is open to all players who will be entering 9th-through-12th grades, and will feature a variety of drills and exercises led by college coaches. This year's keynote speaker will be Navy head football coach Ken Niumatalolo.

This is the seventh year of the camp, which will be held at Lafayette's Metzgar Fields Athletic Complex. A minimum donation of 30 dollars is required to attend the camp, with all the money going to help pediatric brain cancer research.
