A local couple are looking to fly the coop after parting ways with a lot of Eagles memorabilia.
The VanGundys have been collecting Eagles items over the past three decades. They even call the basement of their home in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co. "The Eagles Nest," but now, they're moving to Myrtle Beach and won't have room for all of the memorabilia.
So, the couple are holding an "Eagles Extravaganza" yard sale this weekend. They'll be selling clothing, stuffed animals, even larger items like a pool table and a jukebox.
Not everything, however, is for sale.
"Life goes on, and we have to change, but I'm not getting rid of everything," said Bonnie VanGundy. "My heart still bleeds, my body still bleeds green, you know. I'm still an Eagles fan."
You can check out the yard sale this Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 910 East Susquehanna St. in Salisbury Township.
