SOFT GINGER SPICE COOKIES: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together: 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 stick butter 1 stick margarine 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tbs vanilla (imitation is ok) 1/2 tbs orange extract 2 tsp ginger 1 tsp cloves 1 tsp nutmeg 2 tsp cinnamon Then Add: 1/2 cup dark molasses 2 eggs Mix well! Lastly, add 4 cups of flour Use a small cookie scoop or teaspoon to drop cookies 12 to a tray. Bake for 4 minutes and then rotate on different racks. Bake an additional 6 minutes. Makes approximately 3 1/2 dozen cookies.

Makes approximately 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
