A Northampton County man has died a week after he was hit by a tractor trailer.

The Lehigh Co. coroner says Frederick Hossler, 34, of Northampton borough died Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Officials say he was working in the 6900 block of Schantz Road in Upper Macungie Township last week when he was hit by a truck.

Hossler died of blunt force trauma to the abdomen and pelvis, the coroner said.

Officials say OSHA is investigating the incident.
