One local family is breathing a sigh of relief Wednesday as a missing member has been found safe.
Donald Close, 85, of 3120 N. Front Street, Whitehall Twp., was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Monday in his 2013 Ford Focus.
Police at the Harrisburg International Airport found Close unharmed around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said he was in good condition and didn't appear to be suffering from any medical issues.
Close's niece Mary Pursell said he was formerly a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Harrisburg.
Pursell said her uncle was admitted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown Wednesday for observation.
