Navy Downs Lehigh For Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Crown
The Lehigh women's lacrosse team fell to Navy in the Patriot League Championship Game on Sunday, 11-9 at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
The top-seeded Mountain Hawks fell behind, 5-2, before scoring four unanswered goals to take a 6-5 halftime lead.
But Lehigh couldn't hold the lead in the second half, as the second-seeded Midshipmen took home the title.
Allison Thomas scored a game-high four goals for Lehigh in the loss.
The loss ends a season in which Lehigh tied a school record for victories with 14, and won a Patriot League playoff game for the first time in school history.
Lehigh ends its season at 14-4.
