HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. -

No more free passes for drivers who don't stop for pedestrians in one New Jersey town.

Police in Hackettstown, Warren County will now be handing out tickets to those drivers.

Officers started issuing warnings in early September after going "undercover" as pedestrian decoys in crosswalks.

Officials say pedestrians are often hit along the town's busy Main Street.

They say they hope the tickets will be a wake-up call to drivers.
