Occupy protesters agree to move to new location

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

Occupy protesters will soon occupy a new location in Bethlehem.

The protesters will move from the plaza between the Bethlehem Public Library and City Hall to the Tea Garden, just west of the library.

Protesters were asked by city officials to move their camp. Officials thought the Occupy tents were a distraction to holiday tourists.

Protesters agreed to the move. They said they want to maintain the good relationship they have with city officials.

"The police commissioner and the other people on the force have been very supportive and really have made way for us. We've appreciated that," said Jeremiah Lormand. "In order to show them that we like that working relationship, we definitely wanted to meet them on this point."

The Occupy Bethlehem movement began October 21.
