MAHONING TWP., Pa. -

A piece of Carbon County is bringing Christmas cheer to the White House.

A tree from Crystal Spring Tree Farm in Mahoning Township has gone up in the White House's Blue Room.

First Lady Michelle Obama and her daughters Sasha and Malia welcomed the 18-and-a-half-foot Douglas Fir Friday morning.

Crystal Spring says this is the third time in seven years it has been chosen to provide the White House's Christmas Tree.
